We are Sarah and Jasmine. Roomies. Foodies. Badgers.We started this blog because somewhere along the course of our freshman year of college, we realized that we were foodies, and we realized that we were “Slow Foodies” more importantly.
Why “learning to feed yourself”? Learning how to cook and eat healthy and local food is always a learning process! When we started college, we brought along fiber bars, ramen, and mac and cheese boxes. Now we are trying to buy most of our food locally from farmer’s markets and cooking meals from scratch from those ingredients. We are also trying to show (hopefully) that college students can afford to do this! So follow us through our food adventures in eating and cooking and making the best out of a college kitchen!
